Ok. It's official. Agloco Viewbar will be out in March 2007. Here the official announcement from Brian Greenwald, AGLOCO Development Team :

"Viewbar Status: Here’s the quick report. The good news is that the Viewbar release is currently slated for March. And the bad news is the Viewbar release is currently slated for March.

Obviously, I have two minds when it comes to this. I really want the Viewbar out there. I want Members to start using it. I want advertisers and online merchants using it. And I want to start generating revenue for Members and the company.

On the other hand, I also want more time to get ready for the Viewbar. As a part of the AGLOCO Revenue team, I want to have more time to get more agreements in place so the Viewbar makes more money even at the start.

I hear two minds from Members as well. Some Members want the Viewbar out because it would help in recruiting, and because they are eager to start earning. Other Members have expressed that they do not want it out right now because they want more time to get their networks growing before the Viewbar attracts so much recruiting competition.

Thus my mixed feelings. I will try to keep you posted on this on a weekly or bi-weekly basis until it is released (if I bug the engineers too often, they ‘snarl’ at me)."

Once the Viewbar is released there will be tons of completion for referrals. While on one hand this will make it easier to recruit everybody, it will make it much harder to build a wide network. And if I get as wide a network as possible now, then when the post Viewbar frenzy occurs, all of my referrals will be able to make referrals much easier.

It got me to be thinking about how we have over 30,000 people around the world who are experiencing being a founder, many for the first time. They are the subset of Members who have ‘stuck their necks out’ and referred a friend to join AGLOCO. These Members know that being a founder can be fun and exciting. It can also be somewhat lonely.

As my wise grandfather would say, “The really world-changing ideas are going to get the most criticism, because people tend to be afraid of new, great ideas. If nobody is debating your idea, if you’re just getting pats on the back, you’re probably not doing anything special.”

We on the AGLOCO development team feel this way. And I can tell from reading comments on this blog (and some of the hundreds of email questions we receive each day), that many of you feel this way too. These comments and questions are the signs of a vibrant active pre-launch founders community, and they are all part of one bigger question: Is AGLOCO on the right track?

In other words, “Are you and I spending our time on a winning effort?”

I think the answer is a resounding YES. And this is even more true today than it was in November when we opened up the Membership website.

Why do I feel that way?

We have over 30,000 founding Members who have already actively recruited others
We have over 1,000,000 pages on the Internet talking about AGLOCO (per Google search)
We have comments from Bill Gates (and now this week, YouTube Founder Chad Hurley) indicating that we are on the right track
And we have you, probably the most active pre-launch community ever on the Internet. Who else could produce 1,000,000 pages in two months about a company that is still in pre-launch?

You are building a great community and you are the primary reason AGLOCO will win.

AdSense increases publisher earnings to $250

Wooow! with AdSense... now any publishers can earn up to $255 for a single AdSense referral with the change made to the referral structure recently.

This is not related to Agloco. But, will you consider to get another source of online income together with Agloco? Off course I will! Agloco is great for multiplying income with network, while Google AdSense works perfectly with your existing network.

The new structure is two tiered, so publishers will no longer have to wait until their referral publishers to earn money from that referral. The first commission earned is only $5, but the publisher you refer only needs to earn $5 within 180 days for you to earn it. But it is with the follow up commission that can really earn publishers some good money. Once that publisher then earns $100, you now will get a commission of $250, much higher than the previous commission of $100.

I love the way Google works. The company has created a fantastic system for turning space on Web pages into fat checks. Even though it's got a bunch of competitors all with their own methods of delivering contextualized ads, Google is still top of the pile.

But not everything Google does is as big a success as AdSense. Its referral programs, for example, never brought a great deal of revenue. But unlike many companies, after Google gets things wrong, it puts them right.

Google's new, revamped AdSense referral program is well worth another look.

In the past, you received $100 if a publisher you introduced to AdSense earned $100 in ad revenues. As it can take a while for publishers to figure out how to get the most out of AdSense (especially if they aren't using any strategies), that left a lot of referrers waiting a long time for their commissions -- and often not getting anything at all.

Under the new system though, you get $5 right away for every sign-up... and an additional $250 when the publisher you refers earns $100.

That's a huge difference. It's big enough for you to give those referral spots on your page another look. That's especially true if you're creating content aimed in any way at other publishers. So if you write about Web design or programming or blogging, then placing a referral button now should be a no-brainer. Sign up just four publishers a month -- and help them to improve their AdSense earnings -- and you'd increase your revenues by over a thousand bucks a month.

You want to make sure that the place you put your referral button doesn't bring down your AdSense earnings by more than the amount you'll earn from the referrals. But if you can pick the right places on the right pages, that little change from Google could make a big change to your revenues.

I was looking forward to this being implemented as soon as I initially heard the change was on its way (although I wasn't told just how much the commission was increasing to). First, you will get a conversion even if that publisher doesn't make $100 within 180 days... it is hard for a publisher not to earn $5 within the same time frame. And they have more than doubled what you can earn when those publishers do hit the $100 threshold, meaning those who are active in promoting the Google AdSense referral program can earn significantly more money.

The changes seem to apply to previous transactions as well, perhaps everything in the previous 180 days, judging from the stats showing up in the AdSense control panel.

Google became a 140 billion dollar company in a couple of years, all through ads. They bought YouTube for billions and basically gave Myspace 900 million dollars. Commission junction and different price comparison engines makes billions of dollars combined of people that search and shop on the internet.

"A couple of days ago we shared the AGLOCO goal for 10,000,000 Members. We saw your comments and are very encouraged by them. As noted in the blog and in the comments about our 10,000,000 Members goal, we have a lot of work to do to get there. As this is one of the few Internet entities that is owned by its Members, the AGLOCO community will be a very vibrate one. (Not one where “you” comment and “we” do – but rather one where everyone comments and builds together. With that in mind, we decided to tell Members our internal range for release of the Viewbar software – we expect to be able to release the first phase of the Viewbar in 7 to 10 weeks. There are many reasons why the release of the viewbar has to be managed carefully, server planning, partnerships and operating systems are just three examples of why the process is long. we shall also keep updating the website and making it better for our Members to refer others. A decision also has to be made as to whether we should release the Viewbar for all platforms simultaneously or to release in phases. There are two main reasons why Members need to grow AGLOCO. 1. The larger the AGLOCO network is the more money AGLOCO can make per Member (that means each Member becomes more valuable the bigger the network is – this is what is called the ‘network effect’ by economists) 2. The more people that are in your personal referrals, the more significant your personal earnings will be. For every 5 referrals – direct or extended - you double your Member income."

This video is about the Agloco's main program, Viewbar. Without Viewbar no one makes money ;-). It's a very tiny software sits bottom of your desktop and just serves the purpose : Displaying the Ads.

And this is the Ads that brings the revenue for Agloco and it's "Owners" - that's you and me :))) The Viewbar will have few features like search dialog box, a video preview toolbar, contextual ads and some other cool features. It's will be bundled with other software so we can enjoy some extra stuffs too.

Currently the Viewbar is in beta testing and thus not available for public for download. We're expecting it will be released in 7-10 Weeks (around February 2007), so all of us have a lot of time to recruits more members.

WOW!! That's my first reaction seeing Agloco in Alexa.com's first page. And it's ranking is up 350% so it's the hottest Movers & Shakers. On Alexa.com,
Agloco is currently ranked as the 2,235 most popular website on the Internet. A search of AGLOCO on Google results in over 390,000 page results (AGLOCO was a ‘made up’ word with less than 200 results when the website launched).

These are amazing statistics for a website that is 13 days old today. And both of these stats are due mainly to the efforts of AGLOCO Members to promote Membership in AGLOCO. For comparison on just the Alexa popularity ranking – AGLOCO made it to #2,235 in two weeks – it took Wikipedia two years to reach the same level of popularity, Facebook took nine months, YouTube took eight months and even MySpace took three months to hit this same level.
